Creative Expression & Connection
VocalVibe for Girls aims to help girls (11-14yrs) to embrace their vocal identity, in a way that builds confidence and feels energizing, uplifting, and emotionally freeing. This about helping young individuals to express themselves fully and discover their voice and authenticity—not just for singing, but in speaking and sharing truth.
VocalVibe offers harmony singing for self-regulation, confidence, creative expression and personal growth — empowering participants to fully embrace a life of joy, purpose, belonging and connection.
VocalVibe for Girls
is accepting enrolments
Term 3 Monday 14 July to Friday 19 September (Spring school holidays – 20 September to 6 October 2025)
Term 4 Tuesday 7 October to Friday 12 December (Summer school holidays – 13 December – 26 January 2026)
The bonding, sharing and social connections made in the group are key to the success of the VocalVibe method.
VocalVibe describes the use of one's voice as an instrument.
Being "Vocal" also implies being outspoken or unreserved in expressing ideas. The ability to be vocal is a powerful tool for communication; allowing young individuals to connect, share experiences and be honest.
VocalVibe also refers to the unique vibration that we all carry.
The "Vibe" carries layers of meaning, shaping the energy, intention, connection, and purpose behind our community and social emotional wellbeing projects.
VocalVibe isn’t just about singing. It's about sharing voices and rhythms in harmony and creating an experience of safety and trust.
Young teen girls (11-14yrs) are welcome to join (no auditions). No musical experience required.
You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to (zero expectation or judgement).
Anything that happens within the group stays within the group. We respect any personal sharing offered in the group.
This is a safe space to be yourself and all authentic feelings are welcome.
We value and encourage connection, trust, community, honest and sincere communication, mutual respect, as well as wholehearted presence.
You will never be singled out to do a solo, unless you have given previous consent.
Singing is our human birthright. It is all about having a fun experience and gaining vocal skills to build confidence....not about being "perfect".
Music genres will vary, but what we sing will always be beautiful, uplifting, inspirational, positive and fun.
As we get to know each other, there will be space for you to bring in your own musical talents, instruments etc.
Let's co-create our VocalVibe tribe to thrive on being alive!
We offer teen girls a platform to explore their voices without any expectations; helping them build strength, trust, and joy in their creativity and authentic self-expression; also creating a sense of belonging and community. We value sustainable solutions with both short & long-term outcomes.
Singing is a science-backed tool for growth, healing, and development!
Here’s a dive into the neuroscience behind singing and its impact especially on teenagers:
Brain Connectivity & Cognitive Function – Singing engages multiple brain regions at once, including the auditory, motor, and emotional centers. This strengthens neural pathways, improving memory, focus, and problem-solving skills.
Stress Reduction & Emotional Regulation – Singing lowers cortisol (the stress hormone) and increases oxytocin, which promotes relaxation and emotional bonding. It also activates the vagus nerve, helping regulate emotions and reduce anxiety.
Boosts Immune System – Research suggests that singing increases levels of immunoglobulin A, an antibody that helps fight infections, making it beneficial for overall health.
Social & Psychological Benefits – Group singing fosters a sense of belonging and connection, which is crucial for teen development. It enhances social bonding and can even improve self-esteem and resilience.
Neurological Recovery & Mental Health – Studies show that singing can aid in recovery from burnout and mental health challenges by stimulating dopamine and serotonin production, which are linked to happiness and well-being.
Sound is a movement of energy and emotions. When we use our voice, we’re not just communicating—we are actively shaping reality.
Our words, tone, and resonance have the ability to comfort, inspire, challenge, connect, heal and transform.
